2024's Stars For a Day will be held on Wednesday 22nd May 2024 at the King's Hall, Ilkley between 9.15 am and 11.30 am.
Free admission and free entry for local Schools.

STARS! Wednesday 17th May 2023
Just an update on "Stars", taking place at the King's Hall on Wednesday 17th May. The start time is 9.15 am by which time I hope all three schools will be settled in the hall and ready to start the morning's performances. It finishes at 11.40 or thereabouts, to allow the children time to return to school in time for lunch.
Admission to parents and supporters is free, and they are welcome. I hope they will come. There will be a bucket collection at the end of the morning's performances to help defray the cost of biscuits and squash supplied to the children in the interval.
The same three schools - Ashlands Primary, All Saints CE Primary and Burley Oaks Primary - are taking part and I know It will be a wonderful and an amazing

Denis Sharp Memorial Concert 2023
The next Denis Sharp Memorial Concert, held annually to fund the hire of the King's Hall, (expected to be in excess of £700), will be held on Friday 24th March at the Hollygarth Club, Leeds Road, Ilkley at 7.30 pm.
The Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band are the stars of the evening.
There is a licensed bar and tea and coffee will be available. A raffle will be held to help raise funds for this amazing morning of primary school performance talent.
Tickets are priced at £15.00 each and are available from Mrs Elizabeth M Sharp on 01943 872067.

Stars For A Day 2021
Regretfully this year once again, as you no doubt will realise, the Stars For A Day event is cancelled due to health and safety concerns over the 2021 Coronavirus pandemic.
We plan to be back in 2022 and can promise a sparkling morning of star-quality performances.
The First "Stars" in Ilkley
The Second Annual Talent Show hits Ilkley on Wednesday 23rd May 2018 at the Kings Hall, Station Road.
Entitled "Stars", this is a celebration of children and their talents. It is a free-to-enter extravaganza which will feature children from Ashlands and All Saints Primary Schools, Ilkley.
The Ashlands School Band will headline the event alongside a variety of other acts from each of the schools also taking part. Solo instrumentalists, singers and verse speakers will all

A non-competitive musical feast, free for schools to enter, certificates for all entrants, judges comments. Annually in May at the Kings Hall, Ilkley.
This was held on Thursday 25th May 2017 between 10.00am and 3.00pm.
A judging panel was present to support those taking part.
